Playtech signs licensing deal with
DC Entertainment

It is a big month for new casino game partnership announcements and the competition between software providers is heating up as each organisation vies to keep players entertained by offering the most attractive games. That of course means licensing popular mainstream brands for use in online and mobile slots at the world’s most popular casinos. A great example of this is the recently launched NetEnt Guns N’ Roses slot.

One of the most recent announcements comes from software giant Playtech, who has reportedly signed a multi-year licensing deal with Warner Bros. Consumer Products on behalf of DC Entertainment. This new agreement will see Playtech licensing four DC Comics branded film and television titles for their Omni-channel casino games.

The new titles include “Batman” – the classic series from the 1960’s, Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Green Lantern” (2011) and “Man of Steel” (2013) as well as “Superman I” (1978) and “Superman II” (1980), all of which will be released during the course of 2016.

Playtech’s worldwide studios are involved in the production and deployment of these coveted titles and with over 600 games under their belts, Playtech’s latest Omni-channel offering is sure to be as much of a masterpiece as the brand entities whose images they are created in.

Playtech’s CEO Mor Weizer commented that the company’s premium branded slot content will be further strengthened through their newly developed partnership with Warner Bros and the release of the DC comics branded slots. Adding that casino operators and players alike would benefit from the best gaming experience that the market has to offer and that the company looked forward to a long and prosperous partnership with Warner Bros.

As players we’re very excited to see these new games in action, and with so much to look forward to this year already, it seems that things will just keep getting better.
